What would you do????

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the thread starter asked for our advice on what mods he could do. He did not ask for opinions on the generation of his car. If you don't like the newer Civics, that's great, but you don't have to bash people's choices.
I've always wondered Zyepher, what kind of car do you have?

oh wait, as for what you should do, naturally wheels and a suspension upgrade are ALWAYS the first things to do on a car.
then naturally you need to upgrade your speakers and get some good sound in there and with that goes a good alarm system.
by the time you got those four things done right, your bank account is about $5K lighter, and about a year or so has passed. then you come back and ask for more advice, and I tell you to get a short shifter, some sway bars, and some more agressive brake pads. then, you come back again when you've saved some more money, and I tell you to get a second mortgage and swap in a K20A2 engine, and get a nice quiet exhaust to help it breathe.
at this point, you've spent about $15K on mods for your car, and the car is about 5 years old. then you realize you wanna start a family and need to buy a house, so you sell the car and regret ever getting started. and the cycle ends there, you drive a minivan for the rest of your life.

Hey cool I'm from Sarnia. Which area are you from? I miss hanging out at Canatara park beach in the summer.
05 Civic Si. Nice wheels. My wife bought an 05 Civic Si 4dr (cash) about 2 months ago.
Honestly the first thing I would do is upgrade the stereo & get a good pager alarm installed. IMAO Honda OEM stereo aren't that great. Don't cheap out and get Pioneer/SONY speakers. Get components and a good 'brand name' amp like Alpine, PG, or similiar.

5k to do those 4 things? i did them under for under 3 . get rims and tires first man, then lower it, then sway bars. oh yeah, while you do sway bars get polyurethane bushings all around. i did all that except for sway bars, that's next on my list. if you really wanna go crazy get all sorts of bars. after all that you'll need to get a nice seat to hold you so you don't hit the door everytime you have some fun.

I'd say build up your suspension components first....shocks, springs, urethane bushings, forged control arms, tower bars, sway bars, front lower crossarm, and rear disc conversion. Then when you decide to get rims, it's all set up for them. And you'll also feel a definite improvement in performance even before you've gotten the rims. And the vehicle will perform much safely too. Then after the rims, some engine bolt-ons or swap and exhaust. Then you can do some ice. I'm more of a performance person so, I'd hit the performance aspects first. Once the engine work is done or some parts upgraded, do the exterior. Something suttle like a lip kit. I'd leave the windows untinted but, that's just me. But, the interior is definately last. Oh, before I forget, one you've finished the suspension set up, get some seats...you'll need em. lol
my 2 cents
Cheers,
Buddah.

figure whats covered on your warranty - and what voids it
but hit some 7th / 8 gen forums and see whats bn done with the newer model civics, then base something of of that and create your own style, try and stay away from recent fads
