What would you do?

of course the other option depending on what civc you were buying.. would be a turbo zc again another little cheap setup.. that would be worth while...

Speaking of D's. There was a thread on Clubcivic not too long ago, where a guy built his own D16 (i think it was y8), fully from the ground up. I THINK he was getting close to B16 power from it. It was a high compression NA D16 build. Im sure if he went low compression, he could've also went booted and pushed out over 250 easy.

I'll take my Si any day thanks.
A mint EG or EK hatch with a K20 would be a sweet little weekend car though.
I still wouldn't dump that kind of cash into a 10 year old car. I'd buy something else that already had some decent potential in stock form without putting $6k into it.

most k20's only have 160hp at the crank...if you get a RSX type S one you have 210hp.. for that cost you can have a k20 eg for 6 grand..or you can have a built, tuned, turbo'd h22/b18/b20/b16 pushing a LOT more hp.. Unless you have ridiculous funds there is no point in getting the K for Hp:$ Ratio.
