What station wagon to get

My boss wants to get a station wagon for work. He needs it to be

-Reliable
-Good on gas
-Not that expensive

What can you guys reccomend?

We already have 2 GMC Astro vans we use for toting around materials and equipment, but he wants a station wagon for myself to drive since I will be going from jobsite to jobsite to help out etc etc.

It wont be used often to lug stuff around, but needs to have the room in case I need to haul a piece of equipment to a site to help out or something.

Any comments on anything?

Impreza is the only one that came to mind for me.

My mom has a Matrix and you can pack a lot more into that thing than you'd think, but it has no power and the mileage isnt as good as youd expect (due to AWD).

What about an Element?

I dont think a base, FWD Element is a that expensive. But I'm sure there's cheaper alternatives.

What about Suzuki? I think they still make a wagon.

Wagons are almost extinct though...Aside from Volvo and some German companies.

Focus Wagon???

As much as I dislike ford econo vehicles, we may end up looking at one, but a Dodge Magnum Hemi would be sick for everyday lol
