What a sh#$ty day.

I was out with my gf and went to dinner, had my car parked not too far from the restaurant and what happens...what i've been fearing since i got my car...somebody broke in...but thankfully they didn't get more than my CD's....they tried prying my deck out but couldn't....tried getting into my trunk...but couldn't....for all you guys out there that haven't done so already.... disconnet ur trunk latches on the trunk lid ....so that you need ur key to open the trunk... its a bitch when u wanna open ur trunk and the car is running...but saved me in the end....BTW...if anyone has a center radio bezel for a 99/00 civic...let me know...i need one!

just keep a viscious hungry dog in your trunk. then when the thief opens the trunk, he'll get mauled to death... hopefully the dog will bite him right in the ***** then as he drops to the ground in agony, the dog will chew his face off.

as for your day... well I was just on honda-tech... read about this guys day. a drunk driver crossed into his lane hitting him head on. took them 40 mins to cut him out of the wreck, they had to cut his rollcage and cut the roof off his car. then they cut the gas and brake pedal out of his broken legs. then he was airlifted to for emergency surgery, and then he went to 3 diff't hospitals for treatment and resetting of bones and broken kneecap, had rods and pins put into his legs. then we went to rehab to learn how to walk again. the lower half of him looks like a rag doll sewn up from spare skin. so let's keep things in perspective about "bad day". BTW... I pray for his full and speedy recovery... and drunk drivers go **** yourselves.

oh yeah, sorry about the rant... totally uncalled for. hope you can replace your radio bezel and put this whole nasty thing behind you. my car was broken into once, but all he too was the remote control for my deck cuz I had the deck face with me. so yeah I know how you feel, but remember... it's not the worse thing that could ever happen in your life. So yeah... get an alarm and keep her safe.

i always keep my trunk locked.. otherwise yeah... it's easy to get into the trunk once the door is open.

you think you had a bad day? I got some back pay for the last year and half for various things... today I paid over $1000 in taxes!!!

I want to opt out of the government...

I freaking hate thieves...make me scared to buy a Civic (still going to )...

I wish people would leave other peoples cars alone. You put time and effort into somthing and some dick comes along and decides that he wants it for himself

That sucks, bro. At the very least, the damage was minimal.

I'm thinking Bruno's idea of a dog is a good one. Too bad we can't get those flamethrower security systems that were proposed in South Africa

ya my buddy had a ****ty $150 sound system (which he bough from excess cargo or something like that) cheap **** anyways and he had it stolen. about 2-3 weeks later he decided to buy another ****ty deck... not a whole system just some piece of **** deck that cost about $50-70. a week goes by and someone breaks his window and steals his deck, but they left the laptop sitting in the back seat.
oh and the door was unlocked.... i swear it was apes who did this. how stupid can they get!!!!!!
