My cousin works for a big insurance company in Canada and I was telling her about all the Civics getting stolen in Ontario lately. She said that 90% of all cars stolen in Ontario are shipped overseas within 48 hours of them being stolen. Wow!

hey Nada sorry to hear about your loss, it really sucks.
Umm as far as receipts i kinda don't think you should be asking for any on the forums just cause you never know right.
but if theres any i can find that would help out ill help.
like i got ones for my brand new tach and some amps and even a computer but who would belive that...

Guys, if its one thing I learned, when you modify your car (domestic or import) always, always ALWAYS make a folder with all reciepts for EVERYTHING.
I have reciepts for my car from my paint job and body work all the way up to my swap and everything in between.
Wait, thats a lie.. I don't have reciepts for my neon underbody kit, Jeff

UPDATE!!
I called the cops today to see if they had any leads or anthing and all i got was some cop saying..
" Why you calling us for?...The cop that told you to call every 2nd or 3rd day was silly to say that cuz we do not have the man power to look for a stolen car....The only way your car will be found is if by chance someone is pulled over or if pieces with serial #'s are found on it....We will call you."
So basically thats it.
My car will probably not even be found and even if it was i dont want it back.
Thanks guys/gals for being there for me and stuff.
I really appreciate your concern.
I have no idea whats going to happen with insurance, since its a lease and all. Some ppl have told me that i only get back about 80% of what i had paid towards my lease(thats after they pay off honda first).
And my $2000.00 + system, well i think its only about $1500.00 i get back for audio ****.
So no matter what,,,,,,,,i lost ALOTTTTTTT of $$$.
I think i am going car shopping next week to see what i want to get next.
Hey i have an idea LOL how about we make this a TCC outing?

Nada - my condolances..
it's getting BAD in etobicoke lately.. last week there was **28** civics stolen.. all had at least their airbags ripped off..
as for stereo l - whatever you need/want replaced or receipts, let me know. I'll keep my ears open to anything I can find out for ya here in the west end
