Look good, always liked the black housed look. Now all you need are amber corners to go along with these. When I had my ej1 I never got around to doing the blackhoused headlights, but I remember seeing another members headlights (suno_eg I believe) and the looked damn sexy.

thanks guys yeah i'm working on some DIY amber corners with this Tamiya Translucent Spray (for rc cars etc.) i found a write up on another site so i wanted to try it out but i'm waiting for paint to arrive from the states to my local shop. once i have the whole combination done, i think itll look pretty decent.

Stained glass paint also works resonably well fyi.

truthfully I think its a pretty cool idea... problem being that its hard to see the black through the frosted lenses.. if they were the crystal lenses... you would probably see it a little better but they look good

lol true, but i like the oem ones best, cuz i trust the quality and fitment. i guess they would probably be easier to see if they were the jdm ones that have a plastic lens instead of a thicker glass one..

thanks tho

Na stick with OEM. The aftermarket crystal lense is...too over done. Its all about making in look "almost" stock but not ricey. It gives a little touch yet its not too flashy.
