hihi!!! What can I do to my civic to make it look better?? I just want to improve the exterior. But I cannot lower the car or buy expensive rims. I could do lips, what else can I do??? BTW my car was keyed today at pmall :( damn ppl!!! kick yo ass!!!! DIU!! |
You don't have to buy expensive rims to have nice ones. You could buy used.
Why can't you lower it? I always liked the clean look of a debadged car... you could try that. |
STICKERS..fast ones though
|
Thanks CrazyBimmer!! But I doubt I could shave them because my parents probably won't let me lol
|
Thanks CX!! I got the NOS sticker, the Civic sticker in Chinese, and the Mugen power sticker on the car already, I could really feel the difference, I have a big banner sticker for the windshield but my parents said no lol
|
What type of lip would look good on this civic if I leave it unpainted in black???
|
Keyed? Diu.... that suck **** yo! Hope you can buff it out bro.
Your car is really clean man, I like it. If you are tight on budget, buy a used lip, take out the hub cap and clean the steelies. Paint them black if they are rusted. That's all I can think of |

Hmmm...., not much you can really do to improve the looks of your car without having it dropped. Maybe a fr & rr lip, side skirts and OEM fogs would make it look better. You could also slap on a Body kit, but that would look like ass if the car isn't lowered. If your parents won't let you drop the car, just keep BEGGING!
|
yupyup, I am serious about the stickers, but honestly I don't feel that the car goes any faster lol, but appearance wise, it is a little better ^^
|
Thanks Charles!! I am thinking of getting a lip too, which style do you think would give the civic a more agressive or modified look???
|
Thanks EG4door!! I really want the car lowered and with good exhaust, but seems impossible, I will beg more tomorrow keke.
How about lips, would they look good without being painted?? |
u can also do the interior yourself
not expensive.. just takes time and patience about the scratch u should be able to buff it down.. itll be less visible but in time and car washes itll be back.. |
if u get rims get nice big ones to fill the wheel gap, wont look as good but u wont have wheel gap. Also Lips are nasty unpainted, unless they come in black abs, and usually the rears dont, ppl dont usually put on black unpainted abs on the rear. Forr now, I guess paint your hubcaps/take them off, get some nice 17's I guess to fill wheel gap.
and most importantly before you do any of this BEG to LOWER the car, get coilovers and tell your parents that in winter you will raise it up to stock height. If your budget is tight and u want adjustability get cheap coilover sleeves, or if you have money get a nice full coilover system (shocks+ adjustable springs) wither way u get adjustability but with the true coilovers u get a way better ride, you can get tints if you like tints but whatever you like go 4 it Hope I helped Joker :) |
take off ur hubcaps
put the 99/00 hubcaps on they look better. then put a front and rear TYPE R lip on and paint them flat black or get the ones that are flat black (which is near perfect fit) from autobas. that way the mouldings n **** will match nicely wit ur lip. then loose the clear corners put the jdm ones on they suit ur car way better. put some black housin dual angel eye projectors on. this will match wit the rest of the theme on ur car and ur set. amber corners NEW : 30 projecotrs NEW: 250 type r lip front NEW : 120 type r rear lip NEW : 120 satisfaction of u doin the install ur self and havin a STOCK STYLE MODDED CAR look for a really really cheap price PRICELESS |
oh yea put red clear tails on it too
120.00 brand new. all these items can be purchased at autobas (the bigger one not at pacmall) |
Note: NOTHING can help your car w/o first doing the basics like rims/susp work. Anything else you do will make it look like you are broke or started a project and can't finish it since you have the little $$ items, but skimped on the big $$ items. If you have any money at all, spend it on maintaining the car and keeping it rust free and clean. Nothing I like to see more these days than a clean stock car a few years old that looks like it just came out of the showroom.

While this may not apply to you, here is a smart comment that is a good starting point:
