So far the options could be:

- Mavis & 401 (Sauga)

- Mt Nemo (Guelph Line & Side Road 2)

- Walkers line and Mainline (Burlington)

- Rattlesnake point aka Kelso Beach (401 & Appleby line)

I'm recording all of this data for a day and location vote in the next day or 2. Still need more feedback with locations and the pros and cons of locations. Keep in mind that if the selected location is no good (ie cops, annoyance, etc), the runner up will considered.

TCC had meets in that area in the past. I believe the lots are public for the use of the park and marina, so as long as no one does anything stupid...

Mt Nemo and Rattlesnake are day use parks and I think there is a fee to eneter them. Great locations for a bbq, volleyball, day time meet.

Seen...I never considered the possibility of a daytime meet.

Though, who would actually show up on a Saturday/Sunday afternoon?

It might be a good way to attract new members and get current members involved more.TCC had them in the past and the 8thCivic forum usually has at leats 1 a summer. Maybe if we could get some cash from the owner for food and stuff, it might be a good time. There are lots of parks and conseravtion areas in southern Ontario we can have it at. Get some fod involved and maybe some of the site sponsors to donate some prizes. Any revenue created could be donted to some local cause.

I prefer daytime meets, only because im stuck inside all day long when im working, I rarely see the sun lol
And plus, nothing beats layin at kelso beach, with a portable grill happenin, with girls in bikinis running around.
Ill take that over sitting at Tim Hortons any day.

Plus, any of the conservation areas that have admissions, are only $6-$10.
Im pretty sure no one would have problems paying that price for a good day.
You all can live without a McyDs meal once in a while
