Thumbs down We Need A NEW location for our meet....

It's sad to say but think we need a new location for our weekly meet @ timmies. Last night, there were a TON of cars in the little parking lot (a lot of which were DUMestic disturbance) and they were so LOUD peeling out and blasting their music, that I fear our location will get raided with cops sometime soon!! There were times last night when I was fearful that cops were going to show up at any minute.

Just my $0.02

Shawn

It is not an option to sit and wait to see what happens.

It is foolish to wait and hope they go away, and even more foolish for us to challenge them for being there.

We like to hang out and we don't want any problems.

Its time we put some suggestions down on the table!

After most peop;e had left Alan found an empty 6 pack int hte bush right behind where some of DD were parked. I don't want to get blamed for this, but I am also not going much farther west. I do CG all winter and I am not doing that distance all summer as well.

Oh! Oh! I likie! It's across the street from my house!

It's got a HUGE paking lot as well.

This is seriously a good idea. It's only about 10-15 mins away from Kennedy Commons, straight North on Kennedy.

Was at KC today and spoke to the Jamacian guy (Mike) in the white ford pickup and asked him if the jokers drinking and that idiot in the CRX was part of their club and said no ... This joker was there the first time and he told the idiot yesterday to leave if he's gonna keep doing stupid **** like that... Also threatened to call the cops on him...

I like the location cause it's close to work for me, I'd be up for moving if it were in a close proximity to KC

I'm all up for moving...those buttmunchers on Wednesday were idiots...can't believe their stupidity...bunch of guys with way too much testosterone sprayin all over the place. It's like everytime they peeled out, I was waiting for a cop to pop out of a corner and tag 'em. It's more stress than I need. If we don't find a location we can agree on soon, I most likely won't be coming down for anymore meets. Administration staff, please find a new place to meet up...I'm a generally non-violent guy and just enjoy chillin out with you guys...but, if it's gotta come down to checkin my back all the time, I'd rather not...thanks.

moving

I don't go to the meets but Karl does and it sounds like these guys are causing probs, why doesn't someone give the cops a heads-up, if the TCC members behave this will keep you out of trouble and get the so called "butt munchers" off your backs....and if that doesn't work I can just bring my camaro and play bumper cars with the idiots! If they are drinking you could mention it to the plazas management cuz they could possibly get ****....just some suggestions =)

I was thinking...we should call the cops and let them know what is happening....Think about this first....

We let the cops know about the probs, tell them we like to meet up with friends once a week to chill. (tell them that our club is against street racing and we applaud what the police are trying to do)

Tell them that there are people that are coming to the lot and drinking.....causing trouble.....and wanting to race. (that last one should get them there).

When the cops start to show up evey night/week, the people that don't want to be bothered will no longer show up. (hopefully that would be the "other" people.) (I'll just have to make sure my "friend" is there to put in a good word for OUR club. )

In time, we would get our meeting spot back.

That's what happened up at Millies. You can now go there on almost any night of the week and chill. (but I still won't go up there)

Whada ya tink?

Well.. I think we should move to another spot for a few weeks and then call the cops on those guys. Then they wont go there anymore because cops will be bothering them and in a few weeks cops wont see anyone there and will also start to leave it alone so we get our spot back.

This is not a bad idea. I noticed a few weeks ago that there is a large parking area at this location and it is not much further than KC. The only thing about this Timmies is that there are houses closer by than KC, so people would have to try and keep the noise down (ie. stereo's, etc.).

Just adding my 2 cents.
