Waxing MASSACRE!

need help on this one

i was out washing my car during the day today and the water freezes when i'm drying....wtf? and if i just let it dry it leaves spots
i used maguairs soap with a chamois cloth and its spotless until it starts drying
on the dry side i started applying wax and after i went over with a cloth it smeared and didn't come off

i think everything is freezing on but its not really cold @ noon and i hear about people washing there cars all the time in the winter

i tried going to a touchless car wash and the wax didn't come off at all
how can i remove the wax ......any help?

edit: i've also tried the mr clean auto dry spray but it didn't work as well

hmm, if i were u id try bringing your car somewhere warm and waxing the wax out. Then refrain from washing and waxing your car outside in the cold for the rest of winter.

get the car into a heated garage/area. apply more wax on top and then let it sit for a few seconds and then remove it all. that should work!

buy a wax remover @ canadian tire. or used alcohol wipes. should work but easy on the alcohol. not too much..

^^^ i waxed my truck today and wax it twice a month and detail it twice a month...my vehicles always look like they rolled off the showroom floor no matter what season or temperature. I'm sort of a neat freak in a way and my friends laugh, like if i clean my car and i get a spot of dirt on it from driving ill be out cleaning it cause it will bug me, on the other hand whoever buys one of my vehicles knows its always been kept pristine!....lol

try washing it with Dawn in HOT water, use a good soapy concentration..see if that'll take off the old wax
just be sure to use a GOOD wash cloth (100% US or GREEK cotton), something that's not going to scratch, cuz you have a lot of scrubbing ahead of you...clean an area and rinse, do another area, rinse

Zaino with ZFX would have worked for ya, or just using Z6 as a protectant until the temp got warmer

Park in your garage for a bit or go to an underground parking lot and let it sit for a while. When in doubt, take a hair dryer to it. it'll come off. I wax my car in the winter too but, I do it in the garage with a personal heater on. I don't do it out in the open to freeze to death.

why would you not??

helps protect it from the elements by adding a layer of protection over your clear and paint
if i had somewhere to do it i would be doing it every week!!!

even an '06, you take care of it now you have less to worry about later

i applied dawn soap into a hot bucket of water and used a chamois cloth to drench the car with the highly concentrated soap, started to scrub not too hard but hard enough to remove it it seems to be working but i'll find out when it drys

still in progress!!!

i'm also a neat freak...if my car has any dirt i just don't feel right
what really kills me is door panel scuffs and dirty rubber floor matts....drives me crazy ....i also drive a lot better when its clean lol...paranoid of getting it dirty!!! ******* WAX!!! i'll be back and let you know the results...

i have some on my phone i need to upload..i'll post soon
heres a visual - a 06 civic half black... and the other half milky white

i got it all off...well almost all off, you can't notice it unless your looking for it, one more regular hand wash will do it

thanks for all the help...the dawn dishwasher liquid actually worked and the trick is to let it set b4 going at it and you'll probably need to go through 2 buckets of soap water to get it off
...now onto my next problem...finding an 06 Si Exhaust or aftermarket exhaust
