Executive Roadside Assistance

My dad and I have just gone through a really rough experience with this "company" in the last three days right after getting into a front end collision, and I would like to simply warn everyone here to stay away from this company in order to make sure that no one else has to go through the same thing. If they ever offer you service after an accident or car problem, please decline and call a reputable and legitimate towing company to help you instead.

They keep your car hostage, they are completely unreliable and do not return your phone calls, they stall for time in order to make you pay for extra time, they tow your car before waiting for you to tell them where you want it brought, they have no website or office; only a guy with a cellphone.

Me and another member both know the Executive guys and theyre good guys, we both offered to try and help him out he didnt PM either of us or give any more info so whatever.

How do I think it happened? You/your dad got in an accident and were at fault, thought you had insurance and said take it to the pound, driver takes it and you later find out when you call your insurance that you dont have two way insurance. You call Executive to get the car back and they want money (obviously) and you guys complain that they cant hold the car (which they can) and then you end up paying and come online and post up false *WARNINGS*

Like I said on SON, I work in the industry. If what I think happened is true, you arent the first and wont be the last, it happens know your insurance coverage.

These guys are scammers preying on unsuspecting and usually stressed out or outright traumatized car accident victims. In addition to knowing others who were ripped off by these guys, I was ripped off to the tune of $1600 for a tow. Unfortunately it was only after the fact that I became aware of my friends falling for the same scam. They completely suck you in with their "nice guy" routine, especially if you have never been in an accident before. Max amount you should be paying for a tow is about $250 from scene of accident and no more than $70 hrs waiting time. They placate you into a false sense of comfort regarding the fees by saying that the insurance company will pay for it. Regardless of who pays for it, a SCAM IS A SCAM!

They break City of Vaughan by-laws by soliciting accident victims and pressing them to leave the scene of the accident and go to collision reporting centre instead. Probably because they don't want to get in trouble with the police for breaking the law.

They did not fully disclose towing fees when asked and then suggest that you tow the car to their impound lot instead of your mechanic. That's how they get you! Once in the impound lot, good luck trying to get your car back without them charging you exorbitant and outrageous fees. They avoided my calls the day the took the car into their lot and I had to fight to get it out the next day!!!

Or you could have grown some balls and gotten all the info you needed before agreeing to their terms.
