has anybody even tried to rent a truck or anything before?

I've rented trucks, suv, "premium" cars, 30+foot cube vans etc and I'm not 25...now for under 21...but I've had rentals since I was 19...most places will tell u they cant do it but really they can...just call around and ask about extra fees etc

you can go to "wheels 4 rent", they will rent to you, but the cars are crappy. you have to specify that you need one that's good for the highway.. honestly they are junkers. make sure you do your own safety check.

oh and you CAN NOT rent under one name and have a different driver. at least i have NEVER heard of a place that will do it.. it's just too much of a liability for them. think about it, if they won't rent to someone under 25 why would they rent to a mystery person that a stranger says is cool?

uhaul... expensive, but you can rent them as soon as you turn 18

If your coming from niagara way watch out for 7th street and jordan rd. I see them there lots.... especially 7th. 50 and casablanca are bad, so is bartlett in grimsby.

well what i did was get a friend that was old enough to rent us a car. we went to montreal for 4days and she just went with us she got the car adn we drove off with it...i believe that some places do charge a underage fee im not 100% sure about that nor do i know where it is. The only danger that you will be faced with if you do decide to get someone to rent you a car is that if you were to get into an accident *knock on wood* that person that rented you the car would be in alot of **** and will not be covered by any insurance that may of been part of the price soo...yea i think its total bull****, im 19 and it was a pain in the *** dealing with those ppl!! good luck to u

you can rent UHAUL me and mike did this once when his motor spun a rod. UHAUL is expensive but they will rent to either 18yolds or 19. You need a VIsa and valid liscence.
