i just finish installing a one-piece black housing projector headlights.... my corner (turn signal light), the bulb is those bluish light.... is it legal?

before i put on the one-piece, i had clear corner, so when i turn on the signal light, its like superwhite, but now its like bluish since its the one-piece projector...

my question is... is it legal? or do i need to find white bulbs or amber? please help.. thanks

The new Lexus's have the blueish lights, I can't see why it would be illegal.

you should probably just spend the 3 odd dollars on new bulbs, go with ambers, because i got a $110 ticket for having Xenon bulbs in my headlights!! not worth it, i jsut dont bother with that crap anymore. just go with some ambers or red bulbs, they look nice too.

I'm pretty sure Sylvania has signal bulbs out now that are "cool blue" when not being used, but when you turn your signal on it shines amber. This way you have the look you want, but stay legal.

Don't know where to get them though. I checked Cdn tire out of curiosity but they didn't have them.

its being stupid now, if you tell them that a bimmer has a blue blinker they'll tell you that it came with it so its legal and a civic doesnt come with it so its illegal, some cops doesnt care though. So if youre lucky you wont run into those guys and if not then gotta take out $100+ out of your bank acount.

Gino's right its not worth your time and money to battle it out in court. just spent a few dollars to get a new bulb rather than spend a hundred bucks or more and a weekend of your time.

yeah teejay, im glad you think that way too. there is no point. i tried arguing in court saying that its the same stuff the like bmw's and lexus' have, but the judge was an *** and told me no. he lowered my ticket from 110 to 90. WOW lol.. still not worth it. and the funny thing is, when i got the ticket, i was driving home at about 1:30 and pulled up to a ride program with a bunch of cops standing around and they didnt even ask me if i was drinking, they just told me to pull over to the side and they started examining my car and told me my "bubble muffler" was illegal. i started to laugh and asked him wtf was a "bubble muffler". stpid *** cops, he wanted to give me a ticket for it.

thanx guy! i guess i better stick with amber bulbs or try to search for sylvania ones....

by the way, you know the one-piece with halo
when i got them (brand new), it came with the bulbs too....
but u know, the halo (eyes) and the lens, when you turn on the headlights... if you look at it, its blue lights, but of course the lights emits is white when you look at a wall and the ground....

this is perfectly legal, right? as long as lights emits are white?
i hope you guys get what i'm trying to say...

put it in a simple way... when you LOOK at the headlights when its on, you see the lights to be blue and of course the halo are blue! but then the LIGHTS itself being emit onto objects are bright white... LEGAL? (haha... thanks! i'm already broke, i don't wanna get pull over and then have to sell this lights to get the $$$ to pay ticket) haha
