Tsukuba circuit replica in Ontario

Like the tittle says,

Do you guys think it would be worth building a replica race track nearly identicle to tsukuba circuit here in Ontario close to the GTA?

I can see it being extremely beneficial...

I swear, one day I'll make this happen.

To those of you who don't know the track:
Tsukuba Circuit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

IMO one of the best race tracks ever made. It's short in overall length, but has everything you'd want, short of major elevation changes. Long sweeping corner, follow-throughs, a shicane, couple hair-pins, long straightaway... It's one of the best lap time attack tracks, it's in most video games (GT, forza...) most people know it.

Thoughts?

Sounds like a great idea, but there are already a few small tracks in Ontario and people still stret race and drive like idiots.

Ideally, if you were extremely rich, you could buy a big chunk of land and build whatever type of track you like.

I just LOVE the track and think it would be sick if there was a replica of it here in ontario.

Mosport full gp track is difficult to book/run on because of the busy race schedule there, the ddt track is more of a permanent autocross track (small). Cayuga and shannonville are both still quite far to most ppl in the gta (richmond hill, scarb, markham, ajax, osh, toronto (down town), the list goes on...).

I think it would make a great track for amature lapping days (for car clubs), drift competitions, lap time attack battles, and pro racing series... Would generate a lot of profit and attract a lot of business to the area.

It's a great idea, but i would not make it 100% the same as that track, change it up a little with a few more turns, and up and down hill corners.

You'd have to want to deal with all the insurance headaches as well (if you're letting other people come onto your property and use the track that is).

Stop acking like an *** hole matt, you think your hot ****, when your not. The only room there is to build any track will be about an 1 hour for some people, but closer to others.

I dont think, I know...so please try again

people complain about distance regardless...fact of the matter is that nowhere near the city centre is zoned for a track hell they even wanna get rid of the toronto island airport...thus, thinking of building a track that is "close" for people that live in the city is pretty silly. would it be cool? sure. is it realistic? no...so, I stand at "c'mon man, get serious"

North of brampton in the caledon area would be a pretty good spot. All country farm type land there.

It's fairly central to most of toronto, gta and surrounding area. If you live in hamilton, you'd be equally close to cayuga and caledon. If you live over in markham, richmond hill, down town, you be within 1 to 1.5 hour distance of it.

I don't mean literally close to everyone, cause obviously thats not possible. But there is nothing between cayuga and shannonville except mosport, and you either have to use the gp track, which is super expensive and difficult, or the tiny ddt track.

You know this is just an idea, something interesting to talk about. Obviously it would be extremely difficult to pull this off. But you don't need to be super negative about it, cynikal.
