See, I don't see why people here can't believe regular Honda cars running regular gas can go over 700 kms on a tank of gas?

715km in an 75L tank, thats about 9.5km/L compared to 600km in a 45L tank which is about 13km/L.

75L @ $1.35 regular = $100 full tank wow (*he runs on premium)

just an observation, I may be wrong.

Don't forget he's also hauling about 600 lbs (4 people ~ 150 each approx). Plus another ~100 lbs in luggage. That's approx 700 lbs total. That's a lot of weight.

Last year, I drove from Edmunston N.B. to Brockville Ont. on a tank of gas in a 2005 Accord. It was also a 4 cylinder automatic. When I filled up, I put in 56 litres. The tank is 66 litres. In both cases, I was driving just above the speed limit. AC on.

Enjoy your trip Brian

We are in Troy Ohio. We also made a trip today to Kentucky which was around an hour and a half one way, only used a quarter of a tank of gas with again 4 people. Filled up the tank on premium 93 octane, cost me 67 USD

With a quarter a tank left in the car before we left for ohio, it cost me 70 CAD to fill up on 94. Reason I used 94 is because I have a sunoco card and wanted the points. Already had 10,000 points and one of the options was 10 dollars off my gas, so it cost me 60. Normally we use 91 so, no it would have not cost me 100 dollars to fill up the car.

215 lb

Before this car, we were driving a minivan and I KNOW that a tank would not have gotten us on one trip. My point is that this is a performance family sedan and to me doing this trip on one tank is pretty impressive, the ride was great on 18" forged aluminum rims with low profile tires it definitely did the job and then some.

Oh yeah! We went on the Newport riverboat, had an all you can eat buffet for lunch on the boat, got a history tour while on the river. Went by the Reds stadium as well as the Bengals. Went to the Newport Aquarium, which was really cool. Very nice place! My daughter took lots of pics, will post them up when I get back. She is the photog guru now.

It's about 7 hours. Just got back. The drive isn't that bad and didn't feel that long either.

JP, Newport was great!
