Travelling in the SE-R

So the family and I are on vacation in Ohio visiting family, we left this morning. Googled the trip for directions. According to Google the trip is a total of 715 km from door to door. We were able to get here on a full tank of gas litterally as the empty tank indicator came on as we hit the exit we had to get off on. Not bad for a V6 loaded down with luggage and 4 passengers. Car drove great, was smooth even on the 18" alloy rims. So far this car is impressing me every day.

That's a nice trip on a tank. Were you keeping it at the speed limit? My trip in 3 weeks will be a total of 1778 kms door to door. PEI, y0!

Just over. I wasn't keeping up with traffic but not lagging either, kind of in between, especially in the States part of the trip.... I never like going over the limit when travelling in the US. Oh yeah, had the a/c on all the way too.

Where in Ohio are you? I drove down once to Cincinnati in a '99 Accord and drove 850 kms before the fuel light came on. It was a 4 cylinder automatic with a 65 litre tank.
Last year, I drove from Edmunston N.B. to Brockville Ont. on a tank of gas in a 2005 Accord. It was also a 4 cylinder automatic. When I filled up, I put in 56 litres. The tank is 66 litres. In both cases, I was driving just above the speed limit. AC on.

Enjoy your trip Brian

what's a ford 305ci? you either mean a 302ci (5 liter) or a 302 punched .030 over making it a 306ci. pretty sure ford never made a 305. unless you mean a GM 305?
