transferred a car over to a new owner - Now what?
Ok I have sold my Civic and now comes the part of transferring it over to a new owner. My question is not so much how to transfer the ownership, but how does the other party get it off my driveway LOL. Since the car is not certified yet or etested can they still get temp plates and if so what is required to do that? What about insurance for them to drive home and to get it to a shop?
Sorry for being a noob in this regard but I usually always trade my cars in.
Thanks for any help in this regard

basically they get insurance on it and they can get one 10 day permit to go get it etested and certified. then they can register it... the only get one 10 day permit.

An easier way to get to my place, is just drive the car with your the current plates on...once I arrive at my house, I take off your plates and drive them back to your place.
Then get my temporary permit.
Then get my temporary permit.

Not worth it IMO. Get the damn 10 day permit.

no you need your own insurance to temp it. And you can get as many temps as you wish as long as you have the safety
