I currently have a 2001 civic LX coupe auto. At the time I didn't know how to drive standard so I got automatic. Know I can drive standard and I am very bored driving auto. Is it worth it to get a tranny swap or to trade it in for a faster Civic like the Sir or Acura EL?
Any suggestions?

I agree with what others have said though, its not worth it to swap from auto to manual, especially on a car as new as yours.

Proeblem with my civic now is it takes a lot for it to get up to speed. I do a lot of highway driving and I always seem to pray a little on the on ramp that I'll get up to speed in time. I like the civic just wish it has more get go. Is it worth trading in a 2001 civic for a 2003 one? If so I am thinking of the Acura El or Civic SiR. Any suggestions as to which one would be the better buy?

Well, if you want more power, the SiR is the better choice as it has the DOHC 160 hp motor vs. the SOHC 127 hp motor in the EL.

I'm biased, but I say get an EL.
