horsepower is a function of torque and rpm... the power an engine produces is a product of its moment and how fast that moment is delivered

it is a lot easier to see in electrical motors as they are simpler in construction and there are less intenal losses. The formula comes very close to hp= rpm x torque

^ yea
hp = (torque x rpm) / X or some BS like that

dotn know what X is, i think some constant or maybe a value thats different for all motors or something

ok it doesnt matter,,,,

just make sure if u have good HP/torque - that ur suspension bettere handle it b/c if u just lower it with just springs - dont expect to get much of that power to the ground.,.,.

so many considerations must be taken when dealing with this...

i think the formula is Hp x Torque is equivalent to E=mc2
where E is maximum rotation of 360 degrees of wheel spin!

MUAHAHHAHAH

hp and torque are just numbers and quite useless unless you are a bench racer. transient response is what matters. how long it takes the engine to accelerate from one rpm to another and how long it take the engine to recover from a drop in rpm.
