My father's old Si barely saw VTEC in its days. He never really driven it pass that, cause it was an auto.

And I driven my buddy's GSR a couple times, never really felt anything crazy. He said "watch this, watch this, ready? ok, here comes.... felt that?"

"wha?"

i couldn't hear it or feel it when i had a Z6 motor with I/H/straight pipe exhaust.

now that i've got a B18C, i can definately hear the change-over, but it's nothing that i can feel (compared to a turbo anyways).

I have been in a few cars with b18c1 and when vtec kicks in it wasn't that noticeable, it got louder but the power was smooth. When the vtec engages on the h22 it is very noticable in sound and power, even in my heavy car.
