I've shipped tires to the states and had them put on there. It was worth it in my opinion to save the $200-$250. It would have been more but the cheapest place I could find right across the border charged $20USD\tire for balancing it still was worth it though. I was going into Niagara Falls anyway for a trip so it made it that much more rewarding.
