WTF, the signage indicates a maximum statuatory velocity of vehicular object to be 110! must be out west somewhere.

I am a student, have eg, but it's not black.

Anyways I have been browsing for winter tires and steelies, needs to be 15" since I have bigger than stock brakes on the front. Where do you guys suggest the cheapest place to get them, seeing how I am a student on budget?

classifieds guy! there are a lot for sale here on TCC. might check kiijjii or craigslist too

how big are your brakes? GSRs clear 14 steelies, so unless you got ITR brakes with prelude rotors... or ITR 5 lugs in which case you need V6 accord steelies or CRV steelies.

For those on a budget or choose not to spend $600 plus on winters, I had a set of the Walmart Wintermark tires on my old 98. I paid around $230 tax/instal/mounting for set and they were great in the snow. They got me safely to the GTA from Hamilton many times when the wife was in school there. Even last winter I had used winter tires on my 06 EX and they were a million times better in the snow then the Bridgstone all-seasons that came with the car.

An auto wreckers or a used tire shop would be a good place to look too. They often have entire sets of tires for under $200.

Proper paint job??? most students paint their car flat black, so I'm gunna say macco is as proper as a student will get. Unless they plan on making their first car which is a 20 yr old civic into a show car and pay double what the car's worth for a paint job.
LOL I never compared an old coat that isn't waterproof to a new one... a new paintjob or a new turbo doesn't take your car from non-functional to functional. They're added bonuses. Like a coat (that works 100% keeps you warm and dry) vs paying extra...a brand new coat that has this seasons colours but works just as well.

Perhaps you spend all your time on your *** when you board cuz you have a sh|tty set up cuz you wanna look bad *** with your clothes but have a 15 yr old board? I'd bet you're one of those boarders that has the outfit, and then you hang the burton bandana from your pocket... love those guys like a walking magazine AD.

And yeah not everyone paints their car flat black, I never did and never would. Things seem to work differently in the little world of yours...

Enjoy your new turbo and rattle can paint job, even though when you hit the guardrail cuz your tires have no traction in the snow they won't mean ****.

Pick up TT forged rods $250

and then what? you sit there and stare at the parts because you ran out of money to put them on? or you buy a used blown turbo and not realize it and spend another 200+ bucks to rebuild it? that has to be the dumbest thing i've heard. you'd rather spend 600 bucks on parts that you can't even put on the car yet but you won't spend it on tires that's a lot safer.
