Lightbulb Time to adjust my mentality

Well, I guess I just have to accept the fact that my car will eventually have little rusts, here and there.

Afterall, it is a 4 year old car. I just grab my rubber mat and carpet and wanted to clean them, and the 4 year old rubber mat finally gave it in, there is a hole in it which made the carpet damp... I was afraid the floor pan might have been rusted due to moisture... lol

Then I look at my rear wiper, the bolt is rusted out, I unscrewed it but couldn't take off the wiper arm. I wanted to clean that sucker but can't... Then I look at the rubber protection tube that has all the hatch wires inside, took it off and the rim on the hatch door has tiny bit of rust. So I bust out the rust remover and cleaned it.

I then look at my car (dirty of course, from last night's rain), thinking it is 4 years old, and I really like it and I want to upgrade it and all. Then I think about the rust and whatnot, getting a new car, yaddy yaddy yadda... this and that...

Sigh....

Anyways..... I guess I will try my best to keep it clean.

rust proofing is the bomb, got mine done and it haulted whatever rust I had on there, lubricates hinges and joints, stops further rust and the undercoating is also a bonus!

Igor and George hook it up proper!

Honda's love to rust out.

I got mine totally repainted, then someone backed into me and scratched my rear 1/4 pannel, 2 weeks after that it started rusting.
That mess is getting fixed free of charge.

You can't win.

Ya, but I doubt they would rust proof the wiper arms lol

anyway, ya the hatch door wire tube area is very, very minor. So minor that I doubt most people don't even look there.

Next week, sometime, I will call to make an appointment.

ok, when you take your rear interior panels out and can see outside perfectly then you have a rust problem.

Got mine done before winter hit last year and Igor did great job at Krown. Definitely recommend. Just be sure to book appointment before you go.

rust proofing was the biggest mistake I ever made

my car will never be able to be a show car now not that it was ever going to be, but I like to have a CLEAN engine bay which is impossible after rust proofing

when i weld up my quarters i'm thinking of just spraying oodles of truck bed liner all over the inside of the quarter panels.... but do you really need rust proofing up front? i have very little if any up front
