Thinkin of Parting out my car!!! HELP !!
Recently I have been thinking about my car and if its worth dumping in all the money next year to get it where I want it.
Next year will mark the end of this project (maybe ) after about 5 years, my new motor being built and body work and paint.
Prolly the most expensive part of all this. I have prolly 90% of the engine build parts.
But the machine work and assemblies gonna set me back like another grand, then I got the body work and paint which will be like another 3500 to 4000.
I just really dont know if its worth it, cause I am seriously looking at the new SI, and if I dump that money into my car, I wont get anything close to it back when I try and sell my EG.
But the other part of me wants me to continue on and finish what i started.
I just dont know anymore, please help me decide!!!

a car shouldnt be thought of as a dump site for money if your are an enthusiast.
a car should reflect the persons personality, taste, style etc....
with that being said anycar can be made into a million dollar car not by how much is spent on it but by how much it would go for in the owners eye.
if I were to see you driving down the road in an EH and i see the new SIR beside you and your car is modified perfectly the way you like it I am positive I will be looking at your car more then the new SIR because its not hard to make a new car look good but making an old school look good is hard and is getting harder.
