gatherer: I've heard those do exist but they're expensive! Work on GPS technology.

Damn I'm getting scared about brining my CRX back out...

well yes they exist except in Canada there are only like 1 or 2 systems that have cellular companies providing service to them, in the states the cellular companies are jumping on it.

boomerang is one such cell based system but how much customizing can I do with that and does the car call me or a call center? I want the call, so that I can start the run to the car, so that I can start activating things like door locks, brakes, ignition cut, fuel cut, activate air bags (hehehehe) I know for a fact boomerang uses the bell mobility network. ohhh well one day I'll just build my own

LOL, u live near me then LOL

dont get a pager alarm, what good is it to know someone is messin wiht ur car... in most scenarios, by the time you get there, the damage is done... and if theyre still there, u dont want to be... just to dangerous for a girl... theres no point to it.. someones willin to steal ur car, u dontknow to what extents theyll go to take it.

imo, get a high quality alarm like a clifford... really good security, just make sure u have someone thats trustworthy to install it.. lots a ppl out there wantin to ripp ppl off.

G2 RACER- The dude got a good beating, he had to get stitches on his forehead, a broken arm and he was badly bruised up. I would understand why they ran away from you guys. All I know is if I ever caught one I would bash them with a golf club until every bone in there body is broken.

My buddie had an attempt at his car , they got in ( alarm sounding) popped the hood and ripped the horn right outta his car. They thought they were smart , but thanks to experience h knew to have a seconary horn underneath and outta sight , Needless to say some moinor damage , and some missing cd's but atleast he still has his car.

here is the best piece of advice anyone will ever give you. put an alarm horn inside your car. its so loud inside a car the desibles will cause hearing damage. its very hard to consintrate on stealing stuff or the car when a horn is blasting in your ear. want evin more panic. put two horns in it. noone would stick around whith that kind of **** hapanin. this is more of a mind **** for the criminal. its something he wont be expecting. it will creat panic and confusion.

the fuel pump and ingnition hidden switches are a given. worst case sinareo just stick your shotgun in the guys ear and make him suck your dick.

RCBH nice Idea although you'll end up in some stupid lawsuit then because of the hearing damage... this is canada and you have to even be nice to the criminals.. there was a case 2 years ago or so where a couple had gone away from their home for the weekend... it rained that friday and then got cold and froze....followed by snow that nite... a thief goes to the house to try and break in early sunday morning and slips on the ice covered by snow, breaking his ankle... and successfully sues the couple becuase they didn't have their snow cleared in the manditory 24 hours...

ok now that I said that best thing to do is a custom built sound gun... these things deliver 130 DB or so of a high pitched squel (10000 hz to 20000 hz) to the guy breaking in ... now that does serious damage. I'm planning on puting one together as soon as I get a bit of time on my hands...
