Firstly, I'm sorry it happened to you dude. Goes to show you, even alarms aren't full-proof...but, statisics show that any model Civic are the easiest cars to steal...recently, a civic was towed to our shop because the owner locked his keys in the car...and it took my partner something like 15 secs to use a coat hanger and pop the lock open, 5 secs to disarm the alarm without the remote and, 2 seconds to reset the system....I was bugged eyed!!! So fast!!! So, if you can imagine, your alarm going off for maybe 30 seconds and then it's gone. Nowadays, when alarms go off, people just ignore the sound...some even curse those that go off...alarms are useless nowadays unless you've got a pager alarm. At least the most important person who should be notified will know...or, a Bomerang system is a good investment...$500 installed...really good investment...at least the cops will be on your car instantly. Well, again, sorry for your loss...I hope the authorities will find your car in one piece but, not to bring you down but, chances are your car will be stripped down...unless they are complete idiots. What is this boomerang thing you talk about?

It is a GPS system that will track your car, there are two services, one that will track the car when it is discovered stolen (the boomerang keychain MUST BE within the car or it is note to be stolen) and the other is that you call them and they will track it for you. Ask PULOVR for more details, I think he said Kennedy Hi-Fi does it (Thats at Kennedy and 7, north west of that insection, near the Drivers and Vehicle Ministry, accross the old North Markham Shitty Honda.

it's like $7/month... so you buy 1 or 2 or 3 years at a time....
