test drove a 2000 civic dx hb

200K KM, 5SPD
DX, all manual. no A/C., how much does it worth?

Engine seems to be ok, but I feel the stick is shaking all the time. Is this normal? Last time I drove a 5spd was 5 years ago, cannot remember whether this is normal or not :-(

thanks

the shaking of the shifter could be due to worn shifter bushings. if u feel the entire car shaking, it could be engine mounts.

with 200 k on it, id say its worth 6k if it is in good cosmetic condition

the shifter rattle is because your bushing is prob shot....it's nothing serious

the vibration can be a worn bushing....but it can also be in the tranny. My shifter of my EL was vibrating and I replaced all bushings with polyurethane. Was told the vibration/slight rattle was from inside the tranny, nothing serious, but it will not go away without opening it up

my best guess for price would be $5000 max. You can get an Acura 1.6EL with lots of power options in that mileage for $5500-$7000 so that hatch should not be any higher then $5000 with that mileage, $5500 if its in great shape.
