Telus is becoming garbage too
#41
Well.. I was on Telus for a good 2 years. I thought that Telus was pretty good considering I hardly went over monthly bills, and the plan was amazing. (Free Time 25, 50 min, caller id, voicemail, unlimited evenings/weekends, and persecond billing) However, I was sick of Telus and I got myself a corporate plan on Rogers. For 25 a month, I get 150 day time, unlimited evenings and weekends starting from 6, and PER minute billing. (Thats the only thing that ticks me off about rogers, but I don't use my phone too much during the day). In addition to BladeX's post about 850Mhz gsm network, my phone (Nokia 6590i), runs perfectly on the network. (It is a dual band phone- 1800/850) I don't think I have had to much problems with coverage. I have more or less always had a working phone. Anyways, just my two cents. I was happy with both Telus and now Rogers.

Summary of my plan
$25 a month.
Billed by second.
50 day time minutes
Unlimited Lunch Hours (12 to 1)
Unlimited Evenings and Weekends (6 PM to 8 AM)
Call Forwarding, Voice Mail 25, and Caller ID free.
I had this plan for a long time. It was called Free Time 25. I bought a new phone and signed a contract.. but they couldn't give me $50 off the phone cuz it was an old contract.. so they gave me a free bundle... Call Forwarding, Voice Mail 25, and Caller ID. Which is IMO better than $50 off!
