it all depends how far you want to travel
i know great routes north of peterborough
same kind of route except its about 20 minutes drive - going 80 km/h +-
turns you need to slow down like last time

the pavement isnt that great either- no holes just falling apart on the side really narrow

cant go any faster then about 100 in some places- really cool

i wonder if cops would allow us to close it down for a half a day

no one drives on it

anyone know - has it been done before- closed down a street

i closed down front street for construction before

there is got to be a way to close it down - we have to talk to the city

i will go to see the route this weekend- if i manage to get my parts for my tranny before the friday.

and then I will see how the road is after winter- and then try to talk to the city and see what they say

The next cruise is actually in the works right now. The course should be a lil longer this time with several routes in mind. Most likely, the date of this cruise would fall on a Sunday this time so that more people would be able to come out. Further details of the cruise will be presented once they have been established. In the meantime, keep checking discussion. I'm open to any suggestions so long as they are safe routes. The route we took was relatively smooth. I'd say only about 5 percent of it was a lil bumpy (cracks etc.) and that's one of our considerations. The last thing we need is to have one of us pop a tire on a hole or crack or loose control of the car because of going over one. We try and make the route as safe as possible to those on it and around it. Closing down a route isn't an opinion. The club doesn't have the finances to facilitate a move like that. Maybe we will in the future but, not now. Anyhow, it's the time we spend as a club that is important here and not the route. The route is just icing on the cake. Anyways, details of the cruise should be posted in the next week or two.

Cheers,
Buddah.

This time we should cruise up into milton again like we did in the fall, way better scenery and less traffic/police.
