TCC welcome event

Hi everyone.. as you might of notice this is my first post on the forum.. so let me first say I知 not 52 years old yet.. I知 25 or so.. the name Racer52 stand for Racer@Heart.. Ok.. now you know I知 not an old fogey.. lets talk about breaking the ice for TCC members..

TCC sounds like a great club for me.. its about Honda civic and its in Toronto the capital city of niceness.. but yet I知 sill a bit unsure about coming to a meet.. not knowing anyone and all that.. so.. I was just looking around the forum to see if an event like a BBQ to go to.. but then I realize its not the best first impression to make.. knowing me.. I eat like a pig.. so it got me thinking and looking..

I didn't notice anything like this in TCC or other clubs.. what if TCC had a Night Racing Video Game Event to welcome people to the club.. imagine this..

4 cars equip with a game system and a wheel on the passenger side and on the driver side will be one of the TCC long time member to welcome them into his car and to the club.. to make it exciting there should be a big screen projector showing the race for everyone to see.. and of course all 4 cars should have a good sound system to hear the roar of the game..

I guess what I知 trying to say is make something to do.. something to feel welcome.. something exciting but not dangerous to anyone.. and above all something everyone can do and have fun..

Anyways.. what does everyone think about this idea..?

Hows it going bro, I'm new around here as well. The only thing that you need to remember is that TCC is a great club with great guys (and girls ) and members. I don't know anyone on here besides for one of my buddis from school, but the best way to get to know people is to just go to a meet, introduce your self, and don't worry about looking like a pig, I am as well. I sometimes have to wear a "bib" in public restaurants .

And about the vid game idea, we could all pitch in on somewhere to go and play some games, like SRS, Midnight Club 3 (minus the chrome), nfsu:2, and throw some NHL and NFL games into there. Make a night out of it. As well with bring along a BBQ. have a blast.
Best Regards
-Kevin

Just go to the meets, everyone is super friendly... If I have my dog you wont be able to resist talking to him, which means you'll have to talk to me, which means then you'll know someone. Come on Saturday too to CSCS in cayuga great time to meet people.. and its going to be super fun, and we need your support

That's a good idea and all, but it's tough to organise things. Trust me, come on out to a meet. We're all very welcoming. Just pull in and be like, hey i'm new here. Granted...the first day may be a little akward....i remember mine was, but Mandie helped me with that. She's the only other Reverb in the club LOL. So we got talking...and the more you participate, the more you get to know everybody and it get's to be more and more fun!
Hope to see you at our next meet!

Awww thanks Paul! Yes I would suggest you come to a meet or even this weekend to the CSCS show and shine and track racing, alot of the members from TCC will be there just to hang out and show their cars if they like.....Great way to meet people. About the BBQ we at TCC are trying to put together a Fall Cruise and BBQ so if you would liek to attend that once its put together your more than welcome aswell as everyone else here

Just come out. It is no big deal.

I remember my first meet, I was called "Post *****" right off the bat.

70 posts in 1 day, I think that was just wrong.

Besides, only paid members can organize meets. They will still be unofficial because the TCC meets are on Wednesdays. Go to a meet and introduce yourself.
