I think we should go back to KC next week......or better yet, Go to the Timmies that is right behind 52/54 (can't remember) division. Talked to Duy about it and he would like to give it a try.....As for the Spy in our club.....We now know that you are crusing these boards looking for illeagal activity and telling the police where we are going to be......Maybe your even a cop...... Go right ahead, I have nothing to worry about. The last time I checked, all the club wants is a quiet friendly place to meet , so we can just chill and hang out.
That is why there was such a big police presents last night.

Whoever you are, you are more than welcome to come to ANY meet we have......I know that I have nothing to hide.
Peace.

Thank-you

Let's just say I had a talk with some people today.
And the number began with 416-808-????, and, 905-773-????.

The snitch will know what the rest of the numbers are or might be. (a clue......this person NEVER seems to be at the meet when the cops do show up...... ) You can take all the guesses you want, BUT I WON"T SAY WHO THIS IS. (they will probably start to show up now)

As I said before, we welcome you to come to the meets.

I may not be an , but at least I'm not the one that is and , and . Ok, maybe not the last one.

I won't tollerate some bad apples that will ruin it for the rest of us.......and I don't care if they hate me for it......I would rather be hated for doing something I think is right, than being chastised for doing something wrong.

How about the Eglinton Town centre? Not sure how busy it is on a Wednesday night, but the lot is big and I'm sure it is far enough from the known spots for you to chill in peace.

I'm not sure that the map's big enough. Maybe find out where interested members are located, and then figure out where to have the meets.

Okay, I'm only in Toronto 8 months of the year but would around Yonge & 7 near all those big-box stores be any good? Is that central to everyone?

Did anyone ever try negotiating with Tim Horton's management to have an organized meet in their parking lot?

PulOvr....that explains the huge police presence. great. Well we have nothing to hide. I don't even see how they could break it up next week if we are purchasing product from tim's and not causing problems....it's private property and only tim's could ask the police to get us to leave

That's right, but unfortunately they have that law against loitering.
Now, I'm not sure if anyone's spoken to Horton's management, but I think it would be a good idea to do so if you haven't. I think that as long as the meets are peaceful (by that, I mean not disturbing the peace) and there's no use of drugs or alcohol on the premises... there shouldn't be any problems.

Here's my 2 cents.

I'm gonna start off by giving everyone a ""
You know there's a speed bump up ahead but you still choose to floor it, and now that your car is all mashed up you're sad.

I'm gonna say it: WE ARE ASKING FOR TROUBLE. WE DESERVED TO BE HARRASSED LAST NIGHT BY YORK REGION. What do you expect them to do? They don't care if we're in the papers...they don't care who talks to them...they don't care if you have a stock engine. All they care about is that some idiots who have made a BAD REP for IMPORTS are street racing, speeding possibly causing death, etc and they need to stop them. Since they don't know who those specific individuals are...they will pull over ANYONE who has their car modified. It's called VEHICLE PROFILING.

Inorder to avoid cops/other car clubs/problems you MUST remove yourself from areas like:
- any coffee/donut shops
- anywhere in York
- anywhere near HWY7
- anywhere where there are tons of suped up cars

NO MORE RICE LOCATIONS. I know alot of you have nice rides and want to flaunt them to other non-TCC people, but is it worth the hassle and pain?!?!!? THIS ISN'T DARKNIGHTS...it's not an outdoor car show...so who cares who is sees or not sees your car?!?!!?

Let's be honest here folks. Does anyone notice a pattern?? If you review any of our previous meeting locations we are always surrounded by a sh*tload of imports. That's usually known as "A COP IS PROBABLY WATCHING YOU AS WE SPEAK" places.

We're always meeting in spots that are sooooo HEAT. The heat is not drawn by TCC but by other IMPORT DRIVERS.

So what's the solution you ask?
STOP IT!!!
Stop meeting in these places. And the problem will be solved.

The whole point of us meeting once a week is to just hang out, swap stuff, chit chat or just to have a coffee. The bond that holds us together is our Civic.

So why are we always meeting at these places with tons of kids who have too much money and decides to supe up their car to look cool and cause sh*t because he hates his parents?!!?

Why do we always have to meet around/near/within the vicinity of them?!?!?!?!

Here's sumthin' for all of you to think about.
Would we hold a meet at PINEVALLEY/HWY7? And why?
Answer honestly now!!

Now apply that same reasoning to pick a new spot for the meets.

This makes sense...

Cosmicgirl you always have something intelligent to say...

But more than that you take the time to say it...

Thanks for reinforcing the cops and donutshop's with civics don't mix part of my original post...

I say we approach Honda dealerships and ask if we can have meets there....

Any idea welcome...

How about Edward's Gardens, in the far parking that is closer to Leslie. The Cops usually go straight down to sunnybrook and stay away from there.

Or how about the back of Don Mills centre (don mills and lawrence) in the upper parking?
