Hey Rich, remember way back last year at RT when you were getting engine work done, Rick and Thomas revved your engine and spraying stuff inside the IM, and your car smoked like crazy?? This is what they were doing, and even you can't mess it up.

yea.. i learnt this after i posted Y8's have it sideways, where as non-vtec Y7 (aka my car!) have em up...

Also, with many of you guys and the air intake (myself included), it helps to spray both sides of the MAF elements. Big difference.

It seems the oil gets on the MAF and distorts readings.

Do not touch the elements, only spray carb cleaner (TB cleaner) on them.

Did mine yesterday, noticed some improvement and my engine revs smoother. For less than $10 and a few minutes of your time, its well worth doing it, just don't know how long this will last.
