i found def-con racing... they're the only ones who've actually done this swap before. They have a 2002 civic project car with the jdm type r engine.

Eric told me he could install an engine if I purchased it off him. Correct me if I'm wrong..

I thought he did do swaps. Guess not.

Yes we do complete swaps and installs! These are not done at our facility, but we have 3 select shops we work very closely with for the install of our motors.

We can put together a complete package with engine, install, and all parts required for the swap (into whatever it may be).

dont take it to just any "swap shops" just because they have experience and are well trusted.

most of them havent installed a k series motor into a car other then a rsx and some havent even done that. so based on that you cant take a k motor and have it installed at a shop that has installed b series motors into civics and know everything about it.
its like comparing oranges to apples.
b series is a piece of cake.

imo take it to defcon. they did one into an ES and it wont be hard since the EM is the same gen. to bad they havent done k into ek.
no worries i will be doing it myself soon.

Defcon is another affiliate that does awesome work (so I heard). They did a jdm k20 into a EP3 i believe. And I'll be most likely doing business with them also to build my engine.
