Did you order a 911 to go along with it?? (or a Boxster/Caymen)

I do believe the original idea behind the Cayenne was that it would give Porsche owners the chance to continue driving a Porsche when they had to take their family/didn't take their sporty Porsche

I know of a friend who owns a 07 X5 but i dont know anyone who owns the Cayenne personally. Online reviews are mixed which was expected and are generally positive for both the models. Meaning...no major issues in terms of performance or reliability.

We test drove both vehicles last week and it just kept getting better and better. Both are unique and very close to each other in overall terms so i guess its more down to personal choice in the end. Driving my SI after the test drive gave me low blood pressure lol. It was just so awesome.

So...net net...my inclination is to go for Porsche. Its the name, performance and exclusivity behind it all. The GTS or the Turbo version would have been nice but that is not on the list.

What do you guys think?

SAL
All i will say is this, when i worked in Dubai, we never went out to the desert in a X5, 1 it was a chicks ride 2. it looks better clean 3.Cayanne S was made for thrashing around.

X5 is a small ***** with a shiny **** statement.

Porsche cayenne S is "don't **** with me kids"
