Suggestion on what to do with car??

I just found out my car needs like $ 1500 in repairs... basically a whole new front right side...... i'm lookin for ways to get rid of this car n make at least some money out of it to pay off other debts...... can someone suggest anything i can do ? ... i heard i can scrap it .. but i dunno how much i might get out of that ... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.... gonna be a while till i'm driving again ..

part it out...then sell the rest to the recyclers.

yes...part it out...I have made over 1000bucks parting out my old 90Si hatch...insurance gave me 1800 for it when they wrote it off, I made another 1000bucks and counting off it, not a bad deal I think!

ok its a 1990 mercury topaz.. i'm pretty sure i'm not gonna get any money for parts... its my winter beater... n i was still usin it

not worth it to part out than...probably just sell it as is to a recycler

You might get less than 100 bucks if you drive it to the junk yard. If they come to tow it, they might even charge you.

In another words, this car won't net you that much money for your debt, if anything, you might loose more. If it is a beater, as long as it runs, it serves its purpose. You know what I mean?

Unless you have another car to boot around town.
