Stupid question

Anything... I just want to be ready when i need stuff for my car. for now though probably a drive shaft. I have to first make sure its my drive shaft
I looked at them, most are all shops and custom places. My racing might be my best bet, but im waiting for a call back from them
I called Tiger, but they don't seem to be be overly educated with the B-series motor.
"Hi i need a quote for a B16A"
"what year car?"
"94 hatch"
"that car doesn't have a b16a"
"I know, its a conversion"
"are you sure"
"nevermind"
So im hoping since 101 people have B16 motors someone can point me to a shop that carries most of the parts onhand

Well if you told me that to id say you were weird,
tell them the actual car the engine if from,
thats like me asking for parts for a 350 block,
what car is it in?
87 CJ-7,
you sure?
specifie the car it came from?
an SIR?

try the forum classifieds first; i have seen a ludicrous amount of mint b series pass thru members hands on jdmr. they fly through parts without even putting a lot of them through their paces.. i got my d15b engine and tranny off members and for $200 combined i really doubt a better price exists. now i have the cash for head work!
or try local classifieds like craigslist and kijiji; also great bets if you want to pick up quality parts locally for cheap. all you're getting is ****ED WITH when you buy from shops these days it seems.
i'm not surprised either; most places don't even test the engines before selling them they just get rid of everything because there's so much demand. at least when you buy off a forum member you know they're more legit because the opinion of another forum member means more to them then to a gyp shop and they've probably already tested the motor out at least

If you are piecing together a swap yourself, I would look at classified and research the parts that are needed and make a check-off list.
Otherwise, hand over the car to a shop and tell them what you need and let them worry about the parts. You pay more than just labour and parts (slight mark-up) but it saves you the time to source out deals.

thanks everyone
The Tiger story was more to show that he was using a system, so he punched in my 94 civic and then asked my engine, and I told him its a conversation, and he asked are u sure about the engine, as in it was listed.
thats why i gave up.
Im actually not doing a swap, trying to finish up a swap someone else started. I'm going to get the car dyno'd soon and talk to Zeeman to make sure its running like a champ. For now though, I want to make the run safely/ legally
