it will never happen because property value (land value) is too much money to buy it and build a couple million dollar track.

the money spent up front will take waaaaay to much time to get back and then make profit from.

also noise pollution is a major factor aswell.

that wouldnt be a factor.
because sauga area is considered mostly industrial so even if it where to happen it would most likely be put there.

sauga isn't mostly industrial...it's like 90% residential lol. if anything it'd be further west of sauga.

Post was good.. Atleast they didn't mention TCC! But its funny how it mentions how Tim Hortons is a typical hang out.. Soo true, maybe we should move ours to a Starbucks

lol sauga isn't very industrial at all, there ARE parts that are industrial but he's right 90% residential...

there's a bunch of reasons that it's not gonna happen, and i don't think the lack of potential investors is the problem, because even IF someone had the money they gov't would still have to approve it... which is something i highly doubt would happen...

I'm thinking of going in a friend's car to the Honda-Tech meet. The turbo spool and bov is way too loud, and will cause unwanted attention driving to the meet. I actually know of a few (2) cops that frequent this board as well. Be very careful as to what you post!!

lol.. is there why there's cops at the meet at timmy's? lol... j/k.. guess I shouldn't be driving at nite.. just found out a cousin of mine driving modified EF got pulled over just outside my office for:

tinted brake lights, "IMPROPER muffler"?????, and bald tires

officer removed his plates and said he had to get it towed.. and he just left while the car was parked on the street for a tow truck.. officer told him, he'll find him on Thrusday on his next shift that he'll give him a ticket.. is that proper or no? i thought u have to give him a ticket rite on the spot or it won't be legal?

He told me the officer had to go for his lunch break so he left and told him he's next shift is thrusday so that's when he'll give him a ticket..

Sounds like your missing a few details, maybe if the cop see's him driving on his next shift he'll get ticketed? or something along those lines.

But sorry your cousin gets what he deserves. I like hearing about people getting their plates pulled when their cars are unsafe. If I saw the cop I would congratulate him for making our streets safer.

ya some of those might be BS tickets but bald tires are definitely dangerous and he shouldn't have been on the road if he can't afford tires with tread on them... that's how accidents happen, or the inability to avoid an accident/pedestrian in front of you...

The one that kills me is the tinted brake lights, anybody who does that deseves get rear-ended and then charged for their stupidity.

I rate them in the same category as the person who locks on their brakes and crawls over/into train tracks, parking lots, and speed bumps.

they should use the old downsview airbase for a drag strip cuz noise pollution its zoned for aircraft , bombardier still uses it but once a week or whatever the runway could be used as a dragstrip?

good idea? just wondering

a 1/4 mile track wont do ****

you dont wanna pay $10 and wait in line all day long so u can race when u can jus call your buddy, head to the industrial area, put your pink slips down and race all night long
