strange sound

i got home tonight and as i was pulling into my driveway i heard a strange sound comming from my front passenger side wheel. it almost sounds like a squeaky metal on metal sound whenever the steering wheel is turned in either direction. does anyone know what this might be? could it just be ice or should i get this looked at?

Could be the rotor shield rubbing on your lower ball joint. Happened to me, just bend it back a bit and it should be fine. You would only hear that kind of noise at very low speed.
