Exclamation Stolen RSX

Hey guys, have some sad news to report - just got off the phone with a ClubRSX member, and apparently her car's been stolen from outside a club in montreal.

I don't really have much information - but it's an Arctic Blue Type-S, CF Hood, Blackout Headlights, H&R Springs, and i think it's got the OEM body kit as well.

If any of you see anything resembling this car or parts which could be from this car for sale come this way in Toronto or anywhere around here, please get in touch with me here or on ClubRSX.

Thanks!

Edit: A distinguishing feature is the colour coded side mirror mounts (which are black from the factory). Here's a couple pictures.

I'll keep a look out. This sucks how so many people can just feel the right to steal other peoples cars.

Unfortunately, there's really nothing you can do, if someone wants your car, they'll find a way to take it. i just hope whoever was responsible for this doesn't get away unnoticed.
The car was only parked for about an hour before it was gone... RSX has a pretty decent immobilizer as well, so i guess it was either towed, or it was someone who knew the electronics of the car and bypassed it.

I thought the RSXs were pretty straight with the immobilizer and whatnot... I mean, I thought they were pretty hard to steal.

damn these kids, where is one of them when you lock your keys in the car accidentally ... or where is a cop when you need one?

Well when you put a new ECU (anything that isn't a flash) on an RSX, i believe that the immobilizer is bypassed. The car that was stolen had a stock ECU. Maybe they just towed it.. who knows. Anything is stealable if you have a flatbed!

Wouldn't the car alarm sound when you move it onto the flatbed?

Maybe not eh?

Dont' think it has a tilt sensor... and i know that it doesnt have a shock sensor (i put one on mine though).

the alarm should sound if you open the door without a key or remote entry. if you have the doors locked and the windows open, reach in, unlock the door and open it, it'll go off, i've done this by accident before.

woohoo... i'm not a noob anymore, i'm just a lurker!

So you can move a stock car with factory alarm, toll it and it still wouldn't make a sound eh? That sucks.
