stopped to get smokes..... parked right in front of the doors, as I was paying I heard my exhaust, ran outside.... and just saw my car peeling off down yonge

you would think you would be safe for 30 seconds when your car is in plain view....

insurance is gonna love this...car taken with keys in it while running...I've heard a few stories where the claim wasnt honoured cuz the car was taken with the keys and was left running

yes, it was stupid to leave my keys in the car.... I can gaurantee 90% of you have done the same thing at least once

but you would think your car would be safe, when its no more then 25 feet away, and your only inside buying smokes

Whenever I feel my absence doesn't call for turning off my car, I use a second set of keys to lock the car... so I leave the car running but LOCKED. But what's done is done.... now just pray that your insurance covers it...

lucky for me I can do the same thing except with my normal keys (ign cylinder is worn)...I just pop out the keys, set the alarm, leave the car running, go into the bank or what not...car is locked and armed outside and will be nice and toasty when I get out

WOW that's f u c k e d! I used to leave my car on all the time, even in front of my house while it warms up. Then again, who would want a 14 year old civic

Thats what Gretzky said he did when he played for Edmonton. Its too cold there to turn your car off in the winter...

Thats sucks *** about your car, man. Usually when we hear of car theft its a conventional break-n-take, but this is just brutal. Especially cus you saw the guy driving off...that would be the worst feeling man; watching your car get jacked...

Rich, **** man that sucks. I read about it on CSi already.

Hope the ****er was just joy riding and you get the car back or at least insurance doesn't screw you over.
