Steering wheel sizing

Hey, I want to get an aftermarket steering wheel, but I'm just not too sure of the sizing.

IS there sizing or bolt differences from steering wheel to steering wheel? or are they universally fit?

Sorry if its a dumb question, i tried searching it elsewhere, and i need an answer fast.

I got a '93 Civic DX

Thanks for input

Most major manufacturers have the same 6 bolt hex shape pattern, Momo, Sparco, OMP, Nardi... and such.

I do remember seeing another company or two that uses slightly different pattern, but if you stick to Momo and the like, you don't need to worry about it too much.

You will need a hub first in order to bolt the steering wheel to it. An extention/spacer is optional, if you want the steering wheel closer to you. Same goes for quick release.

OEM is about 350mm to 360mm, about 13.5" to 14". You can stay the same size, or go down to 330mm, or even 300mm. When you go smaller, it will become problematic if you don't have power steering. But your car is a DX, so you should have it.

I have tried 250mm cut version, with no power steering. Cool, but not fun if you know what I mean.

To simplify,
Just make sure the hub is for an EG and the steering wheel bolt pattern matches the hub.
