BTW a neon will always be a neon like I said in the previous thread, the cars are horrible even the newer ones so what makes you think this one is reliable. Any brand new car can be good for a year or 2, **** even kia's but you gotta think down the road if you want headaches or not, I know I don't so i'll go for a reliable honda/acura which has a great backround on them instead of an ugly *** dodge neon which i'll lose 80% of the value of the car after a year of driving it.

It's all your opinion about whether the car is pleasing to the eye or not. Alot of people like it's look. Alot like it's speed. Thus, it's selling well and will continue to sell well.

crazybimmer and my blue si were getting way off topic here... the real matter here is that this neon is not the best thing since sliced bread.... even if they do hold for a few years... japan will come out with something far more superior.... i doubt honda would ever make a turbo'd factory car.... but there will be more.... keep in mind though that you could always spend $27000 on and civic or 240sx or golf... or anything really and it would smoke this neon

ps...srt-4 is a 13.9 second car in BEST weather condition and BEST pro drivers...so i would be very imressed if it EVER broke 13's

i'm a huge honda fan... obviously i drive one.... but most of japan shares the same levels of quality control and production as honda.... i did a project on all this way back in my mech engineering days..... honda's quality level is like a 24... fords is a 0.3 or something .... there is a huge equation to figure that out.... basically meaning more bad parts dont make it into hondas and go to scrap for rework.... it just has to do with how often a company does quality checks... how accurate the measurements are taken... and tolerances on original blue prints.... i was shocked when we first learnt that stuff... i'll never go back to domestic ever again

Same here, I had one domestic and it's last one I ever will have, I had a 91 Hyundia excel, took a beating for a year and not one problem with it. I will only go for japanese cars aswell, not just Hondas but as you can tell I am a Honda freak like many others on here and the ONLY car I will ever get other than a jap car is the 90-93 Ford Mustangs, great cars, fast and their engines are well built. Body just as bad as hondas but a bit of welding metal can fix her all up

Guys, you could make any car fast once you mod it up. The SRT-4 is fast stock.
It can also handle very well.
However, I'm done with this thread.
You guys are just biased toward Honda and won't give any other car a second glance. It's your loss.

i am not biased... i know factually that domestic cars are not built with nearly the same level of quality as japanese cars... dodge does not have the money to switch over to import factory specs to make good cars so they keep releasing **** and the sheep keep buying... they hide there lack in quality with new features.... free a/c... rememeber when gm did that a few months ago on like all of there cars??

it will probably be a good car when it comes out.... i just dont think american manufactures are skilled enough in biulding motors to make that amount of power work in the long run.... they had to cut corners somewhere to sell it that cheap... after all they are supposed to make money out of this somehow
