Spoon sweat bands
What's up with these Spoon sweat band looking things the are placed on the break fluid cap. Anyone seen these? In the new honda tuning mag there's a CRX with one. Rice or what?

they stop spillage on from the resevoirs that can be caused by excessive pressure build up in the resevoirs created by "spirited" driving...all the JDM companies are making these stupid sweatbands and charging 25bucks each for em when u can go down to sports check and buy some for 5bucks for a pair
Rice, maybe...but if Mugen and Spoon make em they will be deemed "cool" by the JDM ******

I love them they keep my wrist nice and dry lol I thought they looked pimp so I bought them for my old car many moons ago.
They actually serve a purpose I put one on my resevoir to keep the spillage clean, when I pulled it off it was pretty gunky, so I guess it mustve done something lol

I guess if they serve a purpose on the track so be it but I doubt that during every day driving these will be of any use. I think personally that anyone that shells top dollar for these should get their head examined but hey to each their own.

if a car is being beaten to the point where it'll be leaking fluids i doubt they'd care if a little fluid is dripping in the engine bay... just another product they sell to put a logo on our car that dont actually benefit anything
true they are used by actual race cars but my above post is regarding using them on a stock civic used only for the street
