Someone Broke my 2008 Civic window and stole my GPS

!!!!!!!!!

This happened just now. my seat is still a little dry (Its raining hard outside)
I filled a police report and they said they might get my GPS back if I provide them the serial number.

This will cost me 280 for the window and 100 for installation plus TINT.

They broke my passenger side then took my fkin gps...... THe sad thing is. I was just looking at my car 30 mins ago then I went to my room then my cousin going to school saw it.

Pics =(

I take my GPS out of the car everytime I leave, or hide it somewhere..

I just spoke with a cop and he told me that everyday there are 10 incidents like this in Toronto.. This event happens between 2-5 am and after stealing the GPS they sell it to pawnshops for $50 bucks. Pawnshops take serial numbers and the cop that I spoke to said he might get my GPS back if I provide the serial number, good thing I kept the box with my serial # on it.

just want to say - stick to the regular paperback maps (going old school).

GPS causes accidents and theft (in this case).

Sorry to hear that happen to you, in fact, my uncle got broken into twice due to someone trying to steal his GPS.

gps is really useful. Last night for example, I had to drop off my uncle to Orillia.. I got there in 1 hour no worrying and getting lost...

Why pay attention to the screen when there's a voice telling you where to turn. Also people try to use their GPS, and find places while driving. Here's the simple solution, pull over, put your destination in, and then go from there.

Its dumb people who cause accidents, not GPS units.
