^^ true say on the 335i but its a bigggg car to be honest for them and way out of their budget. Given the cars on the list...i think their max. budget is around 40K before everything else.

The 335i is no bigger then an RX8 or Eclipse.

But oh well.

the 335i starts at over 51 grand while the others starting prices range from 23 - 35. so its clearly not comparable with the others.

I'd take the Rx8 just because I'm a Wankel-head but I agree that the best choice is probably the Mini Cooper.

I am not sure about the STi, but I test drove the WRX and I was really disappointed. I was expecting A LOT more from the Imprezas, but the car seemed to be so ... common. There was nothing special about it IMO.

you test drove the WRX or the STI? it's a big difference you know. and in stock form there's a lot holding it back. let it breathe a little better and those things RIP.

you should do some research on prices dude....plus the sti is not on the list to begin with so dont waste time. so far...it is clear to me that MCS is more popular than all models listed...regardless if somebody has driven it or not. a test drive will answer that question for sure.

It's true man. My old Civic was more fun to drive than the Impreza I test drove. Mind you, the Impreza I drove was not the STi. I am not sure how different that is from the WRX, but I am sure that it's quite different otherwise there won't be such a price difference.

Dave..thats what i think my conclusion is too although i thought of the RX8 initially but looking at it all again....it makes sense.

the wrx/sti is not a car for everyone...every review says that out clearly...it has a rough ride, which is part of its appeal plus higher maintenance cost.

Mike..yes auto is a must.
