the technology is interesting but like bruno is saying practicality I don't see it happening ... although they seem to be ramping up production for some car manufacturer in China ... according to the site.
the down side to this engine is it's a piston engine and thereofre can't become as rev happy as the Wankel engine.... also the fact that it takes 3 cycles of the piston to create 1 rotation of the output shaft.... thats some funky gearing... maybe it'll have tons of torque with lower HP numbers ..... but hey a slow moving drive shaft does also have limitations..... mainly the super long tranny gearing to get any speed out of it... or look at a mac truck that revs to 3000 only that thing has 18 gears... could you see the next sports car with one of these engines being the first to have 10 gears?
also with this engine if it's spinning at 6000 rpm the pistons are going at 18000 RPM .... thats close to F1 engine speeds.... hmmmm I dunno about this technology
