see.. I drove a Impreza for the past 5 winters, first 3 seasons had all seasons, and the past 2 had Winter tires .. and it was a joke .... this time around I think I'll have to be more wary ...

np.. btw any links to some reviews or extra info on the kw11's besides Kumho's official website?

Review Title: Excellent Tire
Purchased Kumho KW-11's for my AWD Town & Country Van this winter. I had never heard of them, but Consumer Reports review encouraged me to try them. I have been very satisfied. They outperform the Michelin Alpins that I have used on other vehicles and vans and are MUCH quieter on wet pavement. We have had an old-fashioned BIG snow winter in the Maritimes and the usual dose of ice as well and the Kumho's have not let me know. Excellent in snow, predictable in rain, not at all squirmy on dry pavement and a great price. What more could I want? Just that the KW-15's that I've just got, perform as well on my Passat 4-Motion Wagon.

Review Title: Great tires so far
I bought the tires for my 98 Ranger 2WD which is not the best winter vehicle. Even though the winter in Montreal has been relatively snow-free these tires have performed very well when we have had snow. I find them quiet and smooth on the highway and they are wearing very well. I find these better winter tires than the previous set of Alpins which are much more expensive. I would definitely buy another set of these tires.

Review Title: Excellent Tire
I put these tires on my 85 rx-7 which I drove in the winter. It was like night and day. This tire was fantastic. Great grip and braking performance with hardly any lockups. Got me through a tough winter with no issues! Great value.

all i have time to search out atm, but it gives you an idea..

No time to change tires over. I'll pick the first day I actually get a day off.. I either am at school or at work.. Or studying. I don't even have a social life anymore... so first day I get off.. it goes on..

So not for the next 2 weeks AT LEAST.
