Slow tire leak

I seem to have a slow leak on my drivers side tire. Its a 205/40R17 and was wondering if any shops can patch these? I claled a goodyear tire place here and they wont do anything under a 45 aspect ratio.
What about using one of those canned sealers from canadian tire? Any good or will it ruin the tire or rim?

depends where the leak is

tread, sidewall, or the bead

tread should easy to yourself with a repair kit from C.T.

sidewall = not repairable

bead= clean rim remove rust/crap

I think a local tire place will charge around $20 for fixin a flat

ya, I have heard those sealers are really only for emergancies, they screw up the balance and are a pain to clean off the rim (when you get the tire fixed properly), CT can do a lot of those repairs...

the repair kit I'm talking about is the plug and patch. Not the crap in a can
