Sir Motor Installed

Thats a really good price... Especially since includes installation. Be careful you may have to buy additional parts such as ECU or axles, etc. As for the above comment, technically it is illegal, but whose gonna know

and make sure the installer is professional and geniune... there are punks out there that looks like they can install, but they do a ****ty job... and becareful of what's included and what's not... missing this and that can cost you another g or 2...
that's my 2cents... 2500 is CHEAP...
i've been quoted a b16a2 complete with the axles, shafts, linkage, all the mounts, ecu, tranny, etc with installation for about 4000...

man that's cheap I mean any mechanics door rate is gonna be atleast 50-70 bucks an hour, and it woudl take a few good hours (all day probobly if not 2) to take old motor out and put new one in. Then add the price for a good motor etc. I mean seems to good to be true, is it an actual mechanic shop..?

and yeah... as long as you know how to re-wire or you can find those converting kits, you can convert any obd's to go into your gen.... but like b16civic said, it is usually pain and it would cost you more for those converting kits than just getting the matching generation of b16 for your civic...
also, about the swapping a newer/older motor motor is illegal or not... can someone correct me on this if i'm wrong?? i heard like two version or two-sayings about this... the first one is, as long as you report to the ministry about the replaced engine with the engine model and identification of your purchase of the motor, then it won't be illegal... but i also hear another version/saying is that if your civic originally has a 1.6L engine, as long as your swap motor is 1.6L, then you're fine... but if you put in 1.7L, then its trouble... i'm not sure.... but that's what i heard.. maybe people are just trying to screw me up??? correct me on this plz...
you might want to do a full test on the engine first... compression test to see if there's anything wrong... misfiring, bad pistons, etc...
