Shipping from states?
#2
isnt it the sellers responsability to provide shipping, at the buyers cost? I always get my stuff from the States via UPS, and I dont think there is anything you can do to reduce the tarrifs and taxes other than the seller making out the invioce on the package for a lower price, or ive heard if you mark the package as A gift Item, then everything is waved...but ive never tried it so I cant confirm it...

You might still have problems sending it as gift since gifts are free of tariffs for value up to $60 only. Best to send USPS (since the brokerage (i.e. handing) fee is only $5 and can be $40+ with UPS). Also, have the seller mark as "warranty replacement" to avoid duties and taxes.

UPS gives you warrantee when the item gets lost, but not a full coverage. They pay by the weight. So if you order some light rims and got lost, well too bad...
Postal Service don't have guarantees. If the item is lost during shipping, then it is gone.
